How to Switch From AntiScuff to Streamable

Move from AntiScuff to Streamable after the 30 October 2026 shutdown: point Moblin, IRL Pro or BELABOX at a new ingest, rebuild or import your OBS scenes, set up chat commands and go live on Twitch, Kick or YouTube.

Here are 14 days free to switch servers. Use this code for 14 days free while you move to Streamable. Code: STREAMABLE-SWITCH-SERVERS-14-DAYS

The short version

AntiScuff shut down on 30 October 2026. To move to Streamable, you keep your phone app or encoder and change only where it sends. Create a Streamable account, start your server, connect your phone or backpack to a new ingest, set up your scenes, add Twitch, Kick or YouTube as a destination, and go live. Most streamers are back live the same day.

You do not have to do this alone. AntiScuff customers get a complimentary switch: DM @streamablerun on X with the AntiScuff plan you had, what you stream from and where you stream to, and we will help you set it up.

Where your AntiScuff setup goes on Streamable

Basic or Enhanced cloud OBS

On Streamable
Cloud Hosted OBS, started from the Dashboard

Remote Desktop OBS

On Streamable
Remote OBS: the full OBS interface in a browser tab

SRT or RTMP server address

On Streamable
An ingest on the Ingests page, over SRT, SRTLA or RTMP

Disconnection protection

On Streamable
Stream Drop Protection: your offline scene while the feed is down, then back to your ingest scene

Chat bot commands

On Streamable
Chatbot: !scene, !brb, !soon, !show, !hide, !bitrate, !fix, !startstream, !endstream

Always-on stream

On Streamable
Unlimited streaming on the Advanced and Max plans

Step 1:Create your account and start your server

Sign up at streamable.run and choose a plan on the pricing page. Then open the Dashboard and start your server. Your cloud OBS runs in a data center, the same way AntiScuff did, so you do not need a PC at home.

Step 2:Point your phone or backpack at Streamable

Remove the old AntiScuff server from your app or encoder first, so it does not try to reconnect to an address that no longer works.

When the ingest shows Online in Ingest manager on the Dashboard, Streamable is receiving your video.

Step 3:Set up your scenes

Coming from Basic or Enhanced. You did not have direct access to OBS on AntiScuff, so start with the scenes you need: your live IRL scene, a BRB or offline scene for drops, and a starting-soon scene. Upload your overlays, images and videos in Customize, then add them as sources in Remote OBS. See uploading files to Remote OBS.

Coming from Remote Desktop. If you exported your scene collection before the machine went off, upload the .json and your media files in Customize. In Remote OBS, open Scene Collection > Import and select the .json. Sources that pointed at files on your AntiScuff machine will show as missing until you point them at the copies you uploaded. Browser sources, such as alerts and chat overlays, only need their URLs. Windows-only sources and plugins will not carry over, so rebuild those.

If your Remote Desktop machine is still on, back up first. Our AntiScuff shutdown guide lists what to copy.

Step 4:Turn on Stream Drop Protection

This replaces AntiScuff's disconnection protection. When your phone feed drops, Streamable switches your stream to your offline scene, and back to your ingest scene when the feed returns. The cloud OBS stays connected to Twitch, Kick or YouTube the whole time, so the platform does not see your stream end.

It covers a lost phone or backpack feed. It does not help if the platform itself has an outage.

Step 5:Set up the chatbot

Open Chatbot from the sidebar, link your Twitch, Kick or YouTube account and turn it on. The commands work with scene and source names as they appear in OBS, and quotes work for names with spaces, like !scene "Starting Soon".

  • !scene <name> switches scenes. !brb and !soon are built-in shortcuts.
  • !b or !bitrate replies with your current ingest bitrate.
  • !fix or !reset resets the ingest in the current scene.
  • !show <source> and !hide <source> show or hide a source.
  • !startstream and !endstream start or stop the stream.

Only your broadcaster account can run OBS commands by default. On Twitch you can let channel moderators run them too. See how to set up the chatbot.

Step 6:Add your destinations and go live

Open Destinations and add Twitch, Kick, YouTube or a custom RTMP destination. Use fresh stream keys: if you gave your old keys to AntiScuff, reset them in each platform's creator dashboard first. Advanced streams to two destinations at the same time and Max to five. See how to go live on Twitch and on Kick.

Step 7:Test a drop before you go public

Start a private or unlisted stream. Put your phone in airplane mode for 20 seconds, then turn it back on. Check that your offline scene appears, the platform stream stays up and your camera comes back on its own. Then run !bitrate and !brb in chat to confirm the chatbot answers. If all four work, you are ready.

Optional: Deep-Dive FAQ

Open only if you still need extra troubleshooting context.

How long does it take to switch from AntiScuff to Streamable?

Most of the time goes into scenes. Connecting a phone with the Moblin or IRL Pro QR code takes a few minutes, and adding a Twitch, Kick or YouTube destination takes a few more. AntiScuff customers can DM @streamablerun on X for help with the switch.

Can I import my OBS scenes from AntiScuff Remote Desktop?

Yes, if you exported the scene collection before the machine was switched off. Upload the .json and your media in Customize, then use Scene Collection > Import in Remote OBS and re-point any missing files. Windows-only sources and plugins need rebuilding.

Do I need a new phone app to switch from AntiScuff?

No. Keep Moblin, IRL Pro, BELABOX or your encoder. You only change the server address it sends to, using the Streamable ingest.

Does Streamable support SRTLA like AntiScuff?

Yes. Moblin and IRL Pro can send SRTLA straight to a Streamable ingest. A BELABOX sends SRTLA to a BELABOX Cloud relay, and the relay sends SRT to Streamable.

Can Streamable stream to Kick?

Yes. Add Kick as a destination, alone or with Twitch or YouTube at the same time on plans with more than one active destination.
