Is AntiScuff down?
Yes. AntiScuff is not coming back. AntiScuff Ltd, the UK company behind AntiScuff Cloud OBS Hosting (also written Anti-Scuff or Anti Scuff), ceased trading with immediate effect on 30 October 2026. Its notice says an insolvency practitioner is being appointed to close the company.
If your stream stopped and the AntiScuff chat bot is not answering, this is why. It is not your phone, your bitrate or your Twitch or Kick settings.
We run Streamable, another cloud OBS service, so we have an interest here. Everything below about AntiScuff comes from its own shutdown notice on antiscuff.com, read on 31 October 2026. The site says the domain and email will stop working soon.
What happened to each AntiScuff plan
From AntiScuff's shutdown notice, 30 October 2026.
Basic (Budget) Cloud OBS
- Status
- Stopped
- What you need to do
- Nothing to recover on the server. Move your phone or encoder to a new ingest.
Enhanced Cloud OBS

- Stopped
- What you need to do
- Same as Basic. Rebuild your scenes on your new service.
Remote Desktop OBS
- Status
- May still be running for a few hours
- What you need to do
- Back up your OBS files now. AntiScuff says nothing can be recovered once the machines are off.
| AntiScuff plan | Status | What you need to do |
|---|---|---|
| Basic (Budget) Cloud OBS | Stopped | Nothing to recover on the server. Move your phone or encoder to a new ingest. |
| Enhanced Cloud OBS | Stopped | Same as Basic. Rebuild your scenes on your new service. |
| Remote Desktop OBS | May still be running for a few hours | Back up your OBS files now. AntiScuff says nothing can be recovered once the machines are off. |
If you were on Remote Desktop: back up these files first
Connect to your machine while you still can and copy these off it. Upload them to Google Drive or Dropbox from the remote browser, or email them to yourself. Do the first two even if you do nothing else.
- Your scene collection. In OBS, open Scene Collection > Export and save the .json file. It holds your scenes, sources and their settings.
- Your profile. Open Profile > Export and save the folder. It holds your output, video and audio settings.
- Your media files. The scene collection only points at files. Copy the images, videos, sounds and overlays your scenes use, wherever you saved them on that machine.
- Browser source URLs. Alerts, chat and widget overlays are usually browser sources. Open each one and copy its URL into a note, so you can paste it into your new setup.
- Plugin and tool settings. Write down the OBS plugins you used. If you ran NOALBS or another bitrate switcher, copy its config file too.
On Windows, OBS also keeps scene collections in %APPDATA%\obs-studio\basic\scenes and profiles in %APPDATA%\obs-studio\basic\profiles, if the export menu is not working.
Stop the payments
AntiScuff's notice splits this by how you paid.
- Card (through Stripe). AntiScuff says automatic billing has been switched off, so no more charges should be taken. Check your next statement anyway.
- PayPal. You have to cancel the subscription yourself. In PayPal, open Settings > Payments > Manage automatic payments, select AntiScuff and cancel it.
- Refunds and money owed. AntiScuff says these questions go to the insolvency practitioner, whose details it will share once confirmed. It also says it cannot answer individual questions, but you can write to [email protected], which it gives because the antiscuff.com email is going away.
PayPal's menu labels change from time to time. If you cannot find the page, search PayPal's help for "cancel automatic payment".
Reset your stream keys and remove old bot access
A cloud OBS service holds your stream keys so it can send your show to Twitch, Kick and YouTube. When a service you gave keys to closes, the safe habit is to reset them. That is standard hygiene, not a sign anything went wrong.
- Twitch. Creator Dashboard > Settings > Stream, then Reset next to your Primary Stream key. Check twitch.tv/settings/connections and disconnect any AntiScuff app you no longer use.
- Kick and YouTube. Reset or create a new stream key in each creator dashboard.
- Chat bot moderator rights. If you made AntiScuff's chat bot a moderator in your channel, remove it.
- Your phone app or encoder. Delete the old AntiScuff server address from Moblin, IRL Pro, BELABOX or your encoder, so it cannot try to reconnect to a dead address mid-stream.
Get back live tonight
You need a new cloud OBS server that your phone or backpack can send to. The fastest path is to keep your phone app or encoder exactly as it is and only change where it sends.
Streamable is the cloud OBS service we run. It powers N3on, Deshae Frost, Clavicular and 1,000+ more IRL streamers. Your phone sends to Streamable over SRT or SRTLA, our cloud OBS sends your show to Twitch, Kick or YouTube, and Stream Drop Protection switches to your offline scene when your phone loses signal, then back when it returns. The chatbot has the commands AntiScuff users expect, like !scene, !brb and !bitrate.
AntiScuff customers get a complimentary switch. DM us on X at @streamablerun and we will help you move your setup over for free.
Choosing a replacement
AntiScuff covered three different jobs, so the right replacement depends on which plan you had. Basic users mostly need a phone ingest and a reconnect scene. Enhanced users need a backpack or encoder ingest at 1080p. Remote Desktop users need a full OBS they control and can leave running.
We compare the options, including ours, in AntiScuff alternatives. If you already know you want Streamable, the step-by-step move for each plan is in how to switch from AntiScuff to Streamable.
Are you an IRL streamer? Give Streamable a try!
Here's how Streamable helps you stay live:
- Premium Cloud Streaming Servers
- Stream Drop Protection with Clips Player
- Multiple Ingests, Switch scenes without pausing stream
- Collaborative Streaming / Share Ingests with Friend Requests
- Remote OBS
- DDoS protection
- much, much more!

Yes. AntiScuff Ltd ceased trading on 30 October 2026. Basic and Enhanced cloud OBS servers have stopped, and Remote Desktop machines are being switched off. The service is not coming back.
Why did my AntiScuff stream stop?
Because AntiScuff closed. Its notice says Basic and Enhanced packages had already stopped on 30 October 2026. Your phone, bitrate and platform settings are not the cause.

AntiScuff says refund questions go to the insolvency practitioner being appointed to close the company, and that it will share their details once confirmed. It gives [email protected] as a contact while the antiscuff.com email shuts down.
Will AntiScuff keep charging me?
For card payments through Stripe, AntiScuff says automatic billing has been switched off. PayPal subscriptions are not cancelled for you: cancel the automatic payment in your PayPal account.
How do I save my OBS scenes from AntiScuff Remote Desktop?

What is the best replacement for AntiScuff?
It depends on the plan you had. For phone and backpack streams that need a cloud OBS with drop protection and chat commands, Streamable is built for that, and AntiScuff customers can DM @streamablerun on X for a free switch.
