Who is KreekCraft?
KreekCraft is Forrest Waldron, a Roblox YouTuber with nearly 17 million subscribers who also streams on Twitch, where he has about 570,000 followers as of October 2026. He has been making videos since 2014 and is widely described as the biggest Roblox creator on YouTube.
His Twitch bio reads "Roblox Streamer" with the 17 million figure beside it. Recent streams there covered Roblox, Minecraft and GTA V roleplay.
In May 2026 he told the TubeTalk podcast that his channel has passed 7 billion total views. The first two years of daily Minecraft uploads brought in only about 2,000 subscribers.
How did KreekCraft start streaming?
Waldron took every computer class his school offered, got into video editing, and started his gaming channel in 2014 after watching Minecraft YouTubers for years. He told YouTube's blog that the name came from the random-name button in World of Warcraft, which gave him "Kreek". When the Minecraft username he wanted was taken, he added "Craft" at the end.
For the first two years he posted a Minecraft mod spotlight almost every day and ended up with roughly 2,000 subscribers. A Doctor Who mod video then reached 100,000 views, and a YouTube partner manager suggested he try streaming. He moved to YouTube Gaming around 2015, according to the TubeTalk interview.
How did KreekCraft move from Minecraft to Roblox?
Around 2017 and 2018, as Minecraft's pull on YouTube faded, viewers kept asking Waldron to try Roblox. He found shooters he liked, starting with Phantom Forces, and the Roblox videos began to outgrow the Minecraft ones.
The biggest jump came in 2020. During the Piggy craze on Roblox, the channel gained 3 million subscribers in two months, he said on TubeTalk. That same year YouTube included him in its look at breakout gaming creators, and he placed second in the 2020 Roblox Battles competition.
Waldron has also explained why his thumbnails are mostly green-screen close-ups of his face. On TubeTalk he said they got a 12 percent click-through rate, against 7 to 8 percent for a more polished design.
Pixel Playground and the Misfits tour
In March 2023, Waldron and streamer Karl Jacobs launched Pixel Playground, a Roblox game studio backed by the gaming organization Misfits Gaming. Jacobs was co-founder and Waldron was creative director, and Misfits provided operational support through a team that had previously worked on the Minecraft server TubNet.
Waldron told Tubefilter making games had been a dream of his since childhood, and that he never expected to help run a whole studio.
That fall Misfits sent Waldron, Jacobs and AustinShow on a three-city tour. Pixel Playground Live, a family show with meet-and-greets, ran at 1 p.m. in Miami on October 7, Houston on October 29 and Long Beach on November 11.
